La Maisonette
Perhaps a better name for this she shed would be “La Petit Maison”. Hidden in the woods in Bath, Ohio, the owner wanted a secret place for afternoon tea with her friends. She also wanted a surprise when they were welcomed.
A winding path leads you through the gardens and into the woods overlooking a waterfall and stream. Guests think they are seeing just another out building but once inside they feel as though they have entered a palace where Marie Antoinette once lived.

The area rug is a hand painted faux Aubusson, no worrying about red wine spill on this rug.


The ceiling is a hand painted sky with birds frolicking with ribbons.


Filled with antique furniture and lighting, a fireplace to take off the chill, the interior in a delightful space for a tete-a-tete.
